The work tasks of cleanroom technician

  1. Guide the renovation of the cleanroom and participate in the design of the cleanroom.

  4. Improving and upgrading the cleanroom system to address changing scientific demands.

Requirements for cleanroom technicians

  1. Educational qualifications and certificates

Cleanroom assemblers usually only need to have a high school diploma or GED. Employers typically prefer candidates with a university or associate degree. Considering the serious consequences of introducing pollution into clean rooms, most companies have developed extensive training programs for cleanroom workers, usually pairing new employees with mentors in the first few months. The training emphasizes the importance of complying with all protocols for personal protective equipment and clean room entry and exit. Some employers prefer candidates for cleanroom assemblers who are industry-certified.

Most cleanroom work involves following detailed assembly instructions, processes. Comply with various policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements. Report quality, function, equipment, or material issues to the production supervisor. Complete production line cleaning, scrap records, training records, and other documents as needed. Maintain a clean and orderly work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.

  1. Physical requirements

The cleanroom operators are frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch down or crawl. However, they are required to lift and move things that weigh around 25lbs-50lbs. When working in the cleanroom, they should have certain vision ability, such as close vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust your focus.
